This isn't so much a new entry as one of my so-called 'sappy poems', edited a little. I shall update very, very soon about the Asian Young Leaders Summit; I'm a little busy with exams now, see.
Watched you from the corner of my eye.
the way you walked
almost silently, on the balls of your feet
a jaguar in its element
how your eyes disappeared when
you laughed
little crinkles appearing at the corners.
laugh lines, little rainbows.
does one of them have a pot of gold for me?
your bag slung carelessly over one shoulder
the day you sneaked up on me
waiting by the road
like a hitchhiker waiting for the right car.
'let's go.'
How you sit down now by the poolside
order coffee for two
slide nonchalantly into a chair...
'Excuse me, is that seat
taken?'

Inspired by a chance meeting with T. S. Eliot.
Alright, so now I'm writing, but it's incredibly sappy poetry. And I don't know why. I was trying to fall asleep when I had the urge to write something; this was what came out.
